Register, manage your practice, and connect with parents who need your help.
Registering as a Therapist
Licensed therapists can apply to join the ParentPulse directory and offer sessions to parents on the platform.
- Create a Sathi.fit account if you don’t already have one (see Getting Started).
- Navigate to the therapist registration page.
- Fill in your details:
- Personal info: Full name, professional title, bio.
- Location: City, country, and region.
- Professional details: Languages spoken, specialties (anxiety, depression, family therapy, etc.), clinic or organization.
- Session pricing: Session rate (USD) and duration (30, 45, 50, or 60 minutes).
- Submit your application. It will be reviewed by our admin team.
- Once approved, you will receive an email confirmation and gain access to the Therapist Portal.
Note: Applications are reviewed manually. This typically takes 1–3 business days. You will be notified by email once a decision is made.
Managing Your Profile
Once approved, your profile is visible to parents in the therapist directory. You can update it at any time.
- Go to Therapist Portal from your dashboard, or use the sidebar link if you’re already in ParentPulse.
- Click Profile in the sidebar.
- Edit any field: name, title, bio, languages, specialties, clinic, session rate, or duration.
- Click Save. Changes are visible to clients immediately.
Tip: A detailed bio and clear list of specialties help parents find the right fit. Include your approach (e.g., CBT, family systems) and any relevant experience with parenting-specific issues.
Managing Availability
Set your available time slots so parents can book sessions with you.
- In the Therapist Portal, click Availability.
- Set your recurring weekly schedule by adding available time slots for each day.
- Block out specific dates when you’re unavailable (e.g., holidays, vacations).
- Set your cancellation policy — how many hours in advance a client must cancel (0–168 hours).
Parents will only see your available slots when booking. Booked slots are automatically removed from availability.
Handling Bookings
When a parent books a session, you will be notified. Here’s how to manage your bookings:
- Go to Bookings in the Therapist Portal to see all upcoming and past sessions.
- At the scheduled time, open the booking and click Join Session to start the video call.
- Video sessions run through LiveKit — encrypted, browser-based, no downloads needed.
Tip: Test your camera and microphone before your first session. We recommend using Chrome or Firefox for the best video call experience.
Stripe Payment Setup
Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. You need to set up a Stripe account to receive payments for your sessions.
- In the Therapist Portal, go to Stripe Onboarding.
- Click Set up payments. You will be redirected to Stripe to complete onboarding.
- Provide your banking details and identity verification as required by Stripe.
- Once complete, you will be redirected back and your payment setup is confirmed.
Fees and payouts
- Platform fee: Sathi.fit charges a 15% platform fee on each session.
- Stripe fees: Standard Stripe processing fees apply (typically 2.9% + $0.30).
- Payouts: Stripe sends payouts to your bank account on a rolling basis (typically 2–7 business days).
You can manage your Stripe settings and view payout history directly through Stripe’s dashboard.
