Oura Wellness
Connect your Oura Ring and unlock insights into your sleep, activity, and readiness.
Connecting Your Oura Ring
Sathi.fit connects to your Oura account using a secure OAuth 2.0 flow. Your Oura username and password are never stored on our servers.
- From the dashboard, click Open app on the Oura Wellness card, or use the Connect Oura Ring shortcut in the Getting Started section.
- Click Connect Oura Ring from the sidebar.
- You will be redirected to Oura’s authorization page. Log in with your Oura account if prompted.
- Grant Sathi.fit permission to read your sleep, activity, readiness, heart rate, and wellness data.
- You will be redirected back to your Oura Wellness dashboard with your data ready to view.
Tip: Make sure your Oura Ring has synced with the Oura app on your phone before connecting. Sathi.fit pulls data from Oura’s cloud, which requires a recent sync.
Reconnecting or disconnecting
If you need to reconnect (e.g., after changing your Oura password), visit the Oura Wellness connect page and click Reconnect. This refreshes your authorization tokens without losing your existing data. To disconnect, use the Disconnect Oura link at the bottom of the sidebar.
Understanding Your Metrics
Your Oura Wellness dashboard displays several key health metrics. Here’s what each one means:
Sleep Score (0–100)
A composite score reflecting your total sleep time, sleep efficiency, restfulness, REM sleep, deep sleep, and sleep latency. A score of 85+ is considered optimal.
Activity Score (0–100)
Measures how well you met your daily movement targets, including steps, active calories, and training frequency. Staying in the 70–100 range means you’re on track.
Readiness Score (0–100)
Indicates how prepared your body is for physical and mental demands today. It factors in your recent sleep, activity balance, body temperature, and HRV. A low readiness score suggests you may benefit from a rest or recovery day.
HRV (Heart Rate Variability)
HRV measures the variation in time between heartbeats. Higher HRV generally indicates better cardiovascular fitness and stress resilience. Typical resting HRV ranges from 20–100+ ms depending on age and fitness level.
Resting Heart Rate
Your lowest heart rate during sleep. A lower resting HR generally indicates better cardiovascular health. Typical range is 40–80 bpm.
SpO2 (Blood Oxygen)
Blood oxygen saturation measured during sleep. Normal levels are 95–100%. Consistently low readings may warrant a conversation with your healthcare provider.
Stress Levels
Derived from your daytime HRV patterns. Higher stress levels correlate with lower HRV and may indicate physical or mental strain.
Note: These metrics are informational and not a substitute for medical advice. If you notice concerning trends, consult your healthcare provider.
Correlations & Trends
The Trends page shows how your metrics have changed over time. You can view daily, weekly, or monthly trends for any metric.
The Correlations page shows statistical relationships between your metrics. For example, you might discover that your sleep score is strongly correlated with your readiness score, or that higher activity levels improve your HRV.
- Positive correlation — when one metric goes up, the other tends to go up too.
- Negative correlation — when one metric goes up, the other tends to go down.
- No correlation — the metrics don’t have a consistent relationship.
Health Alerts
Health Alerts let you configure custom thresholds for all your biometrics across all connected providers (Oura, WHOOP, Strava, and more). You can access Health Alerts from the bell icon in the header on any wellness page.
- Click the bell icon in the top-right header area on any wellness page, or navigate to Health Alerts from the dashboard.
- Use the category filter pills (All, Heart & HRV, Sleep, Recovery, Respiratory, Activity) to find the metrics you want to configure.
- For each metric card, toggle alerts on or off with the switch.
- Use the slider controls to set warning and critical thresholds (above or below) for each metric.
- Settings are saved automatically to your browser. Use Export to back them up as JSON, Import to restore, or Reset to return to defaults.
Each metric card also shows which providers supply that data (e.g., “Oura”, “WHOOP”) as colored badges.
Navigating Oura Wellness
The Oura Wellness sidebar gives you quick access to all sections:
- Dashboard — overview of all your latest metrics.
- Health Score — your overall wellness score breakdown.
- Sleep, Activity, Heart Rate, Readiness — detailed pages for each metric.
- Trends — historical charts (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Correlations — statistical relationships between metrics.
Use the App Switcher at the top of the sidebar to quickly switch to WHOOP, Strava, Health Analytics, Health Providers, or ParentPulse without returning to the dashboard. On mobile, use the bottom tab bar (Home, Sleep, Activity, Heart Rate, More) for quick navigation.
