Getting Started with Nutrition Studio

The Nutrition Studio is accessible from your dashboard. Click Open app on the Nutrition Studio card, or use the sidebar to navigate directly.

  1. From the dashboard, click the Nutrition Studio card.
  2. You’ll land on the Nutrition Studio home page, which shows your daily nutrition summary, recent meals, and quick-access tiles for the AI nutritionist, recipes, and food log.
  3. Use the sidebar (desktop) or bottom tabs (mobile) to navigate between sections.

AI Nutritionist

The AI nutritionist is your personal dietary advisor. It combines your health profile, wearable data, and food logs to deliver tailored nutrition guidance through text, voice, or video conversations.

What it can help with

  • Personalized meal suggestions based on your goals
  • Macronutrient and micronutrient breakdowns
  • Dietary adjustments for weight loss, muscle gain, or maintenance
  • Allergy-aware and restriction-compliant recommendations
  • Post-workout nutrition timing

Recipe Library

Browse over 2,000 recipes spanning cuisines from around the world. Each recipe includes full nutritional information, step-by-step instructions, and a read-aloud option for hands-free cooking.

  • Filter by cuisine, dietary preference, prep time, or calorie range.
  • Save favorites to your personal recipe collection.
  • Get AI-suggested recipes based on your nutrition goals and taste preferences.

Food Logging

Log your meals quickly using three methods:

  • Photo logging: Take a photo of your meal and the AI identifies foods, estimates portions, and logs calories and macros automatically.
  • Barcode scanning: Scan packaged food barcodes for instant nutritional data from a comprehensive database.
  • Manual entry: Search for foods by name and adjust portion sizes manually.

All logged meals contribute to your daily nutrition summary and weekly trends.

Bloodwork Analysis

Upload your lab results to get personalized dietary recommendations based on your biomarkers. Nutrition Studio analyzes markers including:

  • Glucose and HbA1c
  • Cholesterol (total, LDL, HDL) and triglycerides
  • Vitamin D, B12, and iron/ferritin
  • Thyroid markers (TSH, T3, T4)
  • Inflammatory markers (CRP)

The AI cross-references your bloodwork with your current diet to suggest specific foods and supplements that may help improve your levels.

Meal Planning & Grocery Lists

Generate weekly meal plans tailored to your calorie targets, macronutrient ratios, and dietary restrictions. From any meal plan, click Create Grocery List to automatically compile all ingredients.

  1. Navigate to Meal Plans from the sidebar.
  2. Set your preferences (calories, macros, dietary restrictions, number of meals per day).
  3. Review the generated plan and swap out any meals you prefer.
  4. Click Create Grocery List to generate a shopping list from the plan.
  5. Edit quantities, remove items, or share the list with family members.

Booking Live Dietitians

Bloom and Thrive subscribers can browse and book 1-on-1 live sessions with registered dietitians and nutritionists.

  1. Navigate to Live Dietitians from the sidebar.
  2. Filter by specialty, language, or price.
  3. View a dietitian’s profile, credentials, availability, and reviews.
  4. Click Book Session and choose a date and time.
  5. Complete payment via Stripe. You’ll receive a confirmation with session details.

Live sessions are pay-per-session, priced by the dietitian. Thrive subscribers get 15% off all live bookings.
